Be sure to participate in this year’s Great Backyard Bird Count. The count can be done anytime and anywhere during the four-day period that starts Friday, February 18 and ends Monday, February 21. Count all the birds you can identify and then report your sightings to ebird through the GBBC online portal. For more information click on the link below.
Our chapter will be hosting a bird walk at the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy during the four-day Great Backyard Bird Count. We will walk the trails of the KNC and count birds to participate in this citizen science project. Meet at the KNC pavilion (across from the Lions Field House) prior to 9:00 AM.
