CHAPTER CAMPOUT

Monday, September 16 and Tuesday, September 17

3:00 PM

Ottawa Lake Recreation Area and Campground – S59 W36630 County Road ZZ, Dousman, WI

Join us for a fun filled evening or two in the beautiful Sothern Kettle Moraine State Forest. Come and experience Fall bird migration with fellow Lakeland Audubon members, as we will be taking group bird walks in the late afternoon and also early morning. Weather permitting, this will be a great opportunity to experience some camaraderie among fellow birders all while being immersed in nature.

It will be expected of you to bring your own gear, such as: tent, sleeping bag, pillow, lawn chair and cooking/eating utensils. You also will be responsible for providing your own food and drink. Anything that you are willing to share will be appreciated.

There is a fee to enter the Sothern Kettle Moraine State Forrest – A state park sticker: $28 or daily pass: $8 ($13, $3 if age 65 or older) is required to enter the property.

We (Lakeland Audubon) will cover the camping fee, but you are responsible for the entrance fee.
