BACKYARD BIRDING – FRONT TO BACK
The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire is offering an online course about the basics of backyard birding and how to attract birds. This four part series of two hour learning sessions begins Wednesday, March 24 and runs through Wednesday, April 14. The instructor is Steve Betchkal, who is an accomplished writer, ornithologist and master birder.
March 24: One – Feed Your Passion: Basics of Bird Feeding
March 31: Two – Mi Casa es Su Casa: Inviting Birds into Your Yard
April 7: Three – Getting to Know You: Basics of Bird Identification
April 14: Four – Birding by Ear: Tips for Identifying Birds by Sound
